Abbotskerswell Forest School
Our Forest School Lead is Mrs Emily Marbaix.
Nature School is delivered each week on a Friday afternoon. Each year group receives half a term of sessions led by Mrs Marbaix who is also assisted by one of our school teaching assistants.
Over the last fortnight, Year 5 enjoyed making charcoal and popcorn on the fire at school, making pottery tea light holders and having a trip to the local community orchard to identify spring flowers and invertebrates.
It was lovely to see the whole group so engaged with the activities and enjoying being outdoors.
