Music

Our Music Lead is Mrs Amy Pearson.

Children have the opportunity to learn instruments as part of their school provision; this is a fantastic opportunity for furthering their musical knowledge and understanding. Our children love using our sets of glockenspiels and percussion trolleys to take part practically in classroom music lessons. 

Children also practice singing as part of the music curriculum. We learn songs for special events. The whole school learn songs for Harvest Festival, Key Stage 1 learn songs for their Christmas Nativity Assembly and End of Year Performance, Key Stage 2 learn songs for their Christmas Church Service and Christmas Carol Service to the Mallands Retirement Home.
