In Abbotskerswell Primary School, children cover the four core aspects of Geographic understanding through our curriculum. These aspects are:

​Much of our Geography curriculum is taught with a cross curricular approach. For example in EYFS and Key Stage 1 the children spend half a term on the topic 'Magical Me & Where I Live'. In this topic the children learn about their own body, the history of school and villages as well as the local geography of the village compared to the geography of a contrasting non-EU village.
